Part VII -The Orphan

Aye aye! I am Miranda. I became an orphan very young. It's a sad story that my mother died when she gave birth to my little sister, who didn't make it either. 

My father should still be out there somewhere, though I consider my stepdad as my real father, since he raised me, and I groom him every day. (I'm learning to become a hairstylist and visagist.)

I'm a very happy person. We've moved to this planet, which has a nice climate.

I think no one expected it to be growing in population this fast.

I'm meeting new people almost every day.

This blonde lady introduced herself as "Kayla", and today I'm having her over. She seems to be very close with my stepfathers wife Grietje, so we're having much fun together.

Today I realised I don't really know my new mum very well.

This afternoon I saw a woman in another old-fashioned dress (is there a costumeplay on this planet?) trying to hit her!

Also, I saw a strange man passing by. The girls were being very loud, but he did not pay any attention to them.

Grietje wouldn't tell me why this lady almost jumped her, but she was giggling with her new bestie where I stood by... :/

I felt kind of left out and decided to call a friend I know from school. He lives on the planet Puir, where I lived with my stepdad before we moved here. It was sad to leave my friends there, but I'm glad I've met so many people already. And my stepdad Freddy is such a lucky man that he found the woman he loves. I think he really deserves it. I still miss my friend Michael, though. He is a very good listener, as I blah-blah to him all the time. :D 

Part VI - Something sinister is lurking

Larissa speaks her mind. Worries and anxiety are taking hold of her.

Anton and Larissa are endearing people, they have never wanted to cause this much trouble. They are still very young and always tend to stay optimistic about things.

All Larissa wants is to enjoy life to the fullest, without being told what to do. Though, she is damaged in a way she does not yet have the courage to change her appearance, for she knows the clanmembers will hunt her down for that. Innocent enough, she wouldn't think they would chase her down anyway, since she has left the clan.

This day, trouble will be worse for the Boundless...

Larissa feels obliged to break all contact with the scientist Romar Scherfmes and Christine Fuchsia, who is now his girlfriend. Though she couldn't resist to call them to say she's very sorry she can't get to know them any better, after they've just met. She feels like Romars hide-out at Christine's is all her fault. She offers to send them food stocks from Antons store Het Bonkje.

She hadn't quite hung up the phone, when Anton is greeting this strange fellow. Hospitable ase the Boundless are, Anton invites him inside.

Larissa shows him their beautiful girl Paula. She's grown a lot and is becoming a toddler soon.

Time goes by fast, as the Boundless try to live their happy life. As far as they can...

@ The Hide-out

Thanks to Christines amazing talent for communicating with animals, her penguin provides her and Romar with groceries from Antons store Het Bonkje. They send small letters to Anton and Larissa, just to let them know everything is fine. 

This is very welcome, since they have a third mouth to feed. This way, Larissa and Anton feel like they can give something in return, as they sadly couldn't visit them to cuddle little baby Ramon.

Staying home all winter has saddened Christine, she longs to breathe fresh air again. As she spent a major time of her youth in a dungeon, Christine does not like to be locked up. Unlike Larissa, she is not afraid to change her pitch black hair into platinum blonde. She's out meeting new people again! Hoping no one will recognize her.

The new neighbors are very kind. And look at this, Christine is not the first one hopping by...

She decides to spy a little on the lady she once befriended.

The girl is very nice and shameless. She is named Miranda, lives with her stepdad Freddy, doesn't know who her mother is and wants to become a famous hairdresser.

Her stepdad seems to be a guy who's dating several girls from the clan, which is obviously forbidden by the clan, since they want to keep the bloodlines pure.

This is the lady who shaked hands with Romar Scherfmes as soon as he landed in Bonkalei.

She sure is a grand player in running this show. She married Miranda's stepfather and now she's forcing them to do an unhumanly amount of cleaning while she's away.

When she returns, everything has to be perfectly clean. To call her a controlfreak, would be an understatement.

When visitors come by, she does not show any of these character traits. She is all easygoing and Christine feels like this is her new best friend. Gladly, she knows better not to trust these people anymore.

Part V - A prohibited marriage

The Boundless

Christine's nature-loving friend planted these flowers himself. If there's one thing he could do all day, it would be dancing in a field of flowers, with the girl he loves.

A girl from the clan, to be specific. Meet Larissa Boundless, they're just married.

Also, they have a little daughter named Paula.

DAY 9

Today Christine visits her friend Anton. Not only for a maternity visit, but also to hear Anton out about the clanmember Larissa, and how come he could marry her in the first place.

Anton tells her Larissa ran away from the clan, cause she didn't want to be part of the mysterious business they're practicing. For more information he refers to Larissa herself.

Larissa says if she spreads any more information, she'll be on the List, which means they have the right to murder her and her baby Paula.

Christine wonders why she is still dressed like one of the clan. Maybe she's still under pressure, or she is a spy. Christine doesn't like any of this. She often hangs out with the clan members, but she knows there are rules. Who was born in the clan, is bound to live their way. Leavers have never returned alive, goes the myth.

DAY 10

The next morning Larissa is called to speak with one of the clanmembers all alone. She hesitates at first, but agrees as she knows she'll probably be in more trouble if she doesn't go. 

"You thought we didn't see you talk with that scientist?"

"What scientist?" Larissa stammers.

"Oh, don't act ignorant. If we catch you one more time, you'll be on the List for social pollution!"

Larissa asks her husband Anton, if he could explain any of this.

He says he might know what scientist the girl was talking about. Christine and he are very close friends and  share everything with eachother.

A gossip is rapidly spread. Innocence surrounds Anton's words while he catches up with his neighbors at the local store...

DAY 11

A friend of Christine called me to visit him today. I thought a new suit will do no harm, after what Christine told me about being discrete.

He looks like a tramp, though I wouldn't say Christine looks that fresh herself.

This planet could use some civilization.

The guy is very friendly and tells me the clanmembers must be very fond of me, since they rarely visit anyone outside their range. I tell him the ladies acted kind of strange, but I couldn't find anything suspicous about them.

"Did you tell them anything of your purpose here?" Anton asks me.

"You didn't. Well, if I were you, mate, I would stay at Christine's for a while. She can cook you a nice meal and you'll be safe, up high in her tower."

I didn't know the kind man very well, but I sure trust my friend Christine. So I went to her tower immediately after I packed some stuff from home. It was a whole climb bringing all my stuff up these stairs.

That night I slept very close to Christine.

Part IV - New places, new faces

Christine

Christine told me a little something about her life. Here's her story.

She was raised in a dungeon. This trauma caused a fear for living undergrounds. So she doesn't live with the clanmembers, but is often seeing this lady. Together they're always seeking for animals they can train.

Her best friend is often around. They can talk for hours and hours. 

She loves food and bringing people together. She's definately a peoples person. Her dream is to have her own restaurant and last week she managed to set up something.

As a true friend, Romar visited her on her first day at the restaurant/cafe.

As she arrived home, she saw an awfully familiar face walking by her house.

She decided to invite this man in her house, to find out why he was dressed like Romar and what he was doing here.

Meanwhile... DAY 7

Meanwhile at my place, the astro-guy and I were arguing about the building spot of the hide-out for my science team. I thought I could expand my tiny bathroom, though my dear friend wasn't amused.

I involved an architect from the planet Myrandi to help me achieve my goal. This lady tipped me a building we could use. It would cost much less, so I agreed to meet the owner.

It was freezing here, and after I wished my architect a good flight and had another peak at the universe I'm in, Christine appeared in, what you could call, my backyard.

She told me about the guy she met, he had a vicious look in his eyes and was dressed and cut just like me!

She insisted I should change my appearance and stay extra cautious for the time being...

DAY 8

The next day I was invited to the new building I could use for my project.

I decided to bring my friend with me, so he could measure it from his standards. He may have seemed like a dull person, he sure has some qualities for technical stuff and he's quite a perfectionist.

I shaked hands with the owner, and the premises looks nice.

Though it seems that people tend to think scientists are useful for fixing your computer...

I also decided to buy a robot-station from the owner.
